FAIRY TALE SERIES

Previous / Next image 1 of 4

In the core of every fairy tale there is a conflict, and in the conflict there is a lesson, and in the lesson there is a story, and in that story, there is a ritual, of that story being told. These forms illustrate stories we have read so often we come to know our imagination by heart. Each moment is a document of our collective history. Every fairy tale is a re-enactment of the realization that we have already lost our innocence, which lives where the intimate brushes up against our social selves. We are all children of the ancients.
